🌍 In recent years, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has truly revolutionized the world, impacting sectors ranging from finance to healthcare, and, of course, User Experience (UX) is no exception.
📈 According to a McKinsey & Company study, AI adoption has grown by 60% over the past three years, with more than 50% of companies already leveraging this technology to enhance customer experience. We’re witnessing a transformative shift that is redefining how we interact with digital products. But what does this transformation really mean? And how can we, as professionals and users, fully benefit from this synergy?
💡 It all started with a question: How can I improve user experience through digital design? This question led me to enroll in the course “Digital Transformation, UX, and Online Positioning” taught by Prof. Pietro Orciuolo at the University of Trieste.
🎯 What I discovered was eye-opening. User Experience is not just about appealing design or ease of use; it’s about putting the user at the center of every design decision. And this is where AI comes into play. Artificial intelligence allows us to analyze behaviors, anticipate needs, and create personalized experiences for every individual.
AI enables us to make decisions based on concrete data and accurate analysis, providing essential support to improve the effectiveness of our strategies.
🎨 At Arton Business, for example, we started leveraging AI with the tool “Midjourney” to create detailed storyboards that not only illustrate the project but also anticipate the final outcome. This approach ensures a clear and tangible representation of what clients can expect.
🛡️ However, as we explore these new possibilities, it’s crucial to maintain a conscious and responsible approach. As professionals, we must ensure that the use of these technologies aligns with ethical principles. This means not only enhancing the user experience but doing so while protecting their privacy and managing data transparently and securely. I’ve delved into these topics in previous articles, emphasizing the importance of an approach that considers the challenges related to data protection and cybersecurity.
But AI doesn’t stop there: if used correctly, it can also resonate on an emotional level. Creating an emotional connection through design is essential for a memorable user experience. Midjourney, for example, allows us to tell visual stories that resonate deeply with our clients, fostering an empathetic understanding of the project and strengthening the bond between the user and the product 🎥.
