Ransomware Uncovered – Specialist Course
🎓 This week, I wanted to delve deeper into the world of cybersecurity with the course “Ransomware Uncovered – Specialist”.
❓ But what is Ransomware Uncovered?
“Ransomware Uncovered – Specialist Certificate” is a free course offered by the ICTTF – Cyber Risk Academy (The International Cyber Threat Task Force) which provides corporate training on understanding the computer risks related to Ransomware and learning about the underground economy of cyber crimes, ransomware mechanisms, how to defend your company, and respond to an attack.
The course, which takes about 1.5 hours, provides a general overview of what ransomware is, how it works, and how to deal with it. It explains what the NIST Cyber Security Framework is by providing practical examples for each topic, starting from the beginning with the first ransomware and ending with modern-day attacks like Wannacry.
👨🏼💻 As a technology and cybersecurity enthusiast, I immediately took on the challenge and took the opportunity to improve my English proficiency as well.
❓ But who is this course aimed at?
✅ People who do not have a technical role but want to learn more about the world of ransomware.
✅ All cybersecurity enthusiasts.
✅ Those with basic knowledge who want to delve into what ransomware is, how it works, and everything else surrounding it.
❌ It is not, in my opinion, aimed at people who are in daily contact with threat actors and malware.
